The ecosystem is thriving. Shrimpy is still alive and appears to spend most of his time a the bottom of the terrarium. The shrimp looks healthy based on our observations and is moving a lot among the rocks and plants. Our snail has worked his way out of the water and up near the top of the first level. The is the first we have seen the snail come out of the water.
Condensation seems to have increases in both levels of the terrarium, but the water level has not made a significant drop if any.
Our spearmint seeds have yet to sprout, but in conversing with classmates we observed that none of the spearmint seeds have sprouted. This caused some concern, so we did a little research and discovered they take an average of 4-6 weeks to sprout. We are hoping to see some growth in the next week or so. For now, that is our main concern. The rest of the system seems to be maintaining itself well.
